Day Spas Perth Proud to Support Breast Cancer Care WA
What an amazing night! It was an outstanding night of fun!!!!! Yes, 5 exclamation points, that's how much fun it was.
The glamorous Saturday night affair at the Crown Perth Grand Ballroom drew in the most stylish, and fun-loving who’s who of Western Australia and Day Spas Perth is proud to support this event. They came to support Breast Cancer Care WA; a charity that does not receive regular government funding.Instead it relies on sponsors and the Western Australian community for support.
Glamour, beauty and elegance, delicious, enchanting and fun, fun, fun are the words of the night which was hosted by Network Ten’s Narelda Jacobs.
The guests’ red-carpet arrival was captured by a wall of glitzy media. Then they gathered to watch Jerry Fraser (the Master Shucker) dramatically open succulent oysters for guests to enjoy along with a tipple of Double Black from the extremely popular Johnny Walker bar.
Guests also enjoyed 4 Pines Beer and Resplendent Sparkling Rose, Forbidden Fruit Cider, Divine Light Sauvignon Blanc and other delicious wines from Margaret River’s Vinaceous Wines. This was followed by a delicious three course meal prepared by Crown Perth’s executive chef and his team which delighted all guests.
Perth’s leading stylist Aly May created the Ball’s signature lingerie and fantasy show that showcased outfits from Leg Avenue’s contemporary 2013 collection The choreography by
the talented Bernie Bernard was divine. A memorable and ultra – funny interruption was when Cinderella’s ugly step sisters interrupted the beautiful and elegant Cinderella’s.
This led to another enchanting show with glamorous models, energetic NYLON girls, and Jerrie Demasi who wowed the crowd with her enchanting voice.
The majority of the ball’s fundraising for Breast Cancer Care WA was through its hearty, spirited Live Auction – hosted by the Brilliant Tiny Holly. Guests also purchased raffle tickets, with a chance to share in over $15,000 worth of amazing prizes. Booba - envelopes (lucky dip prizes) and silent auction items also helped raise money.
All in all, $135,000 was raised during the amazing Boobalicious night. This will be given to support Breast Cancer Care WA in its endeavor to provide emotional, practical, and economic assistance to women in Western Australia following their diagnosis of breast cancer.
Isn't it wonderful? Not only did the guests at the Boobalicious ball 2013 come to experience fantasy, thrills, beauty and delicious food and wine, but also they came to open their hearts and wallets in order to support Western Australian women and their families who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
